Michael Morgan

Teacher/ Film producer

Michael Morgan’s teaching credentials include UC Santa Barbara, Yale School of Drama, Temple University, Theatre Conservatorium in Brussels, Royal Conservatoire in Liege, Shakespeare and Company, Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Theatre of Changes in Athens. He has acted in over seventy theater, film, and television productions. Over the last 14 years, he spearheaded theatre projects in correctional facilities, such as The Odyssey Project and The Trojan Women Project.

Luc Walpoth

Film director/ producer

Luc Walpoth is a Swiss filmmaker working in both Europe and United States. His diverse portfolio spans narrative films, documentaries, and commercials, earning nominations and accolades at prestigious festivals and enjoyed broadcasts all around the world. Notable works include the thriller "Dead Money", the poignant Italian drama "Peripheric Love", and the critically acclaimed sci-fi short "Replika". A Trojan Woman is his second collaboration with Michael Morgan.

Emmanouela Schoinoplokaki

Classic advisor

Emmanuela Schoinoplokaki is a Classics scholar (Ph.D. candidate at UCSB) specializing in ancient Greek and Roman theater. Her dissertation explores the themes of displacement, belonging, and agency of marginalized heroines of Attic drama, investigating their connections to both ancient and contemporary sociopolitical realities. She is an activist scholar and educator. She collaborates on global, antiquity-related, interdisciplinary, and social justice projects. As an awarded educator at UCSB, she is dedicated to anti-colonial and equitable practices in her work and pedagogy.
